Welcome... to THE CHALLENGE.....

This is our site for THE CHALLENGE  - a stronger competitive option for over 230 non-league and Junior clubs -  and THE PLEDGE  -  a means of engaging fans to support this option by means of a 200 quid pa or mutliple payment in return for a gold member season ticket allowing entry to any game except SFA Cup.  That could be 50 games... at just 4 pounds each. The idea is to divert cash from clubs into big PRIZES... to force them to compete and raise more money.... otherwise.. they won`t. But it would raise profile and find more commercial sponsors. And there must be many fans who would return for a REAL competition...

No money is required until clubs reach agreement on format and start date. And we show how it can cost you NOTHING up front when it starts other than the normal weekly entry fee for games you would attend anyway.  We are also inviting BUSINESS sponsors to get involved on the same basis.... and hope to have monthly prizes, holidays, etc, for members.... PLUS a big LOTTERY which can raise even more cash to improve our dreadful game...

YOU can add your name to the Lottery list... starting at 100 members... at ?10 per month by direct debit.... draws fortnightly plus a FREE MONTHLY PYRAMID NEWS mag....

Join your local CREDIT UNION, where you can save towards your commitment and borrow it at the relevant time... giving free life insurance in a bank that you part own. In many ways, this football development is similar to Credit Union, where I started by a few friends and family at Saltcoats in 1985, whereas now there are 1600 fellow members in East Ayrshire alone.  WE CAN DO THE SAME FOR FOOTBALL...

Indeed, all fans should use Credit Union for all football -related purchases. It makes bloody good sense... because it also gives life insurance free and a resource you can use for anything else, including mortgages...

MAKE YOUR PLEDGE TODAY.... list below updated  October 28 , 2009. Aplogies for difficulties accessing and updating this site recently....

Our game is in serious trouble..... we must ALL help it to grow again. Current pledges = 62

THE CHALLENGE PLEDGE... CREDIT UNION

Probably North(+), East and West, plus 5 region sub-system and platforms for South and far North.... the big NEED is for better financed competition to bring clubs up to SFL levels. They will then take more of the extra SFA cash likely from new deals (TV and Celtic Cup) for 2010-11 as well as many other sources.

The first target is 500,000 pounds.... which will cover the top 48 clubs. The second target if it can be reached quickly can cover all 230 clubs... 1.5 million.

The final target is what SFL have acces to... 5 million pounds pa.... which would be easily reachable if all fans join in....

We also plan to OPEN the Scottish Cup at 1000  quid entry.... run in sections of three, so that each team gets a home game. This can raise more than TEN times what the cup raises today.....

We`d have a National Challenge Cup integrated in support at 500 pounds entry... same methods... so that all clubs can easily recover their investment and raise vastly more cash...

Big right across the world it is late coming to Scotland... 1985 I started Saltcoats in Ayrshire with a few friends and family and there are now 1600 members here in the East Ayrshire Credit Union... where I`ll be putting my 1000 pounds for the free life insurance benefits and cheap borrowing power.

YOU could join and save at your local Credit Union and borrow the ?200 pledge as and when it is needed.. it is YOUR bank... built by ordinary people... in the same way we can re-build Scottish Football...

The Austrian Raffeisen banks... named after the movement founder in Germany... recently sponsored a big UEFA tournament.
